"Our old house needed a serious kitchen and breakfast nook remodel. We stalled for years in large part because we didn’t know how to get started! It turns out that a casual no-pressure discussion with Paul was all that it took. With nothing more than a few dream kitchen photos from This Old House and a “wish list”, Paul patiently answered questions, offered suggestions and explained how the re-model process could unfold for us. Unlike many horror stories we heard about construction projects, ours ended up being a lot of fun. The procedures and schedule were exactly as Paul predicted. And each and every one of Hoying and Hoying’s personnel, subcontractors and suppliers were wonderful to work with. Pam and I looked forward to “our dates” to visit the showrooms (and coffee afterwards) and were 100% satisfied with each supplier that we worked with. The final product is a beautiful and comfortable kitchen and breakfast nook. The custom cabinets have greatly enhanced the utility of the kitchen and the lighting is bright and inviting. Cold winter drafts are gone, we have more usable floor space, and we wonder why we didn’t do it sooner! "

“Hoying and Hoying Builders, working with them was great. We bought a house. and had not been maintained and was in very rough shape. We asked Paul if he would consider doing a complete remodel (almost gutting the place plus a new roof). We met with Paul and expressed our major concerns.

Our first concern was the safety of our family. We wanted to ensure the electric, gas and water supply were in good working order. Our second concern was surprises we might encounter and the potential costs. Our third concern was making it look beautiful and doing it with quality in mind. We plan to live in this home for the rest of our lives and wanted the workmanship to be very good. Paul keyed in on these items, made a plan and arranged the contract accordingly. 

Today, we are in our home. It is safe, the surprises encountered were resolved with Paul's help, and you would not believe the transformation.
